desperado
I was looking at the combo Uttings have got for the .22 at £149 comes with a Hawke 4x32 Mil dot scope. (http://www.uttings.com) Am not sure as I have an old knackered HW 35 so I might find out how much it would be to get that repaired and up to hunting spec rather than shell out on a new combo. The HW 35 is about 25 years old so I like the idea of a nice new rifle

Because believe me, eventually you will probably want to move up to a PCP!!!
desperado
To be honest - I'm not really that interested in PCP, I like the fun of a springer Its not the money either, I'm more into shotguns than air rifles and I'm just wanting something to footer around with now and again, hence I've decided I don't want to spend much money. Think I'll take the HW 35 to someone who actually knows about air rifles and see what their opinion is, it maybe only needs a new spring or summat. cheers

I am not mocking you just stating your wrong. The action will not be the same (barrel might be) as the same action would produce the same power. By action I am assuming you are talking the piston, springs etc.
