Lord Geordie Posted February 24, 2016 Report Share Posted February 24, 2016 My old mans astra I ground the rust out leaving holes in some areas like wheel arch lips. Once it was down to silver virgin metal and NOT rust, I used fibreglass bridging filler to cover the holes, skim of filler over that and a rub down. Etch prime any bare metal before any ondercoating.
