Remimax
anyone loaded 20gauge subsonic 28g 70mm using Vectan AS powder. read somewhere that the use of plastic wad in the latest moderators is not an issue.
sitsinhedges
I think AS is too fast for any 28gram loads in 20gauge. I would stick to A1 for those or 24gram loads for AS until I saw data to prove otherwise. My experience with finding mashed up plastic wads from going thru a moderator is what makes me stick to fibre but I often use a plastic obturator in place of a nitro card for better performance (with the relevant recipe). I'd like a £1 for every pigeon I've shot with that particular recipe.

sitsinhedges
did ya stick em on the chrono , curious to see what they run at. They are doing around 1050fps in the real world. Most standard 1250fps cartridges are doing that or less by the time they are 10metres from the muzzle.
