treetree
Was planning to knock up some diy silosock type decoys, but an unexpected free afternoon gave me the chance to use just the the basic crow silhouette painted black with blackboard paint. Then gaffer taped bbq skewers to the body and stuck in the ground. They had a lovely movement in the wind, and to my amazement almost all corvids passing through came well within range to have a look. Hat-tip to Bluebarrels for the original idea
kenholland
cut some old plywood I had knocking about cut the crow shape then cut a grouve in top of the back of one of the shapes then cut a grouve in the bottom of the other, then slot it in that way the crows can see it from all angle's made up 3 sets and they work for me , even though I have 12 full bodied . I just keep them in the 4x4 just in case I have to go lightweight .
