Oly
I recently moved house taking my freesat system with me. However I'm now still watching my old regional news...and not my new local news?!? Anyone know how to change this?
pin
I know with sky you just force it to do a dial-back and it notices from the CLID of the phone its connected to. Since freesat is sky without a card, perhaps its the same thing here? (services 4 0 1 6 select ) should force a dial-back.

Forced the dial-back (the online light was lit), but still no change, even after switching it off at the wall for 20 seconds.
pin
Is your phone line giving out callerID? The other option is to just call sky and tell them you moved, they are normally ok about it and will update with your new address and all should fix itself. Hmm, just asked a mate who posts a lot on digitalspy (tv forum) and he said what I was on about doesn't work. I always thought that's how it worked, apparently not He says the only way to do it is call them, advise of the new address and its all done from your postcode
Oly
Called sky, they then told me to call Freesat, called them, they told me that my card is an old BBC (or possibly Channel 4) card (even though it has SKY written all over it!!!) and that they don't support that card. Furthermore, if I want the right regional news I need to buy ANOTHER card for £20 which will last 3 years...FREEsat my ****!!! HELLLP!!!
