Ash it's em
Hi I've just seen a white gray lag come in to my pond with six gray graylags to make sure it was a gray I went to put them up and it sounds like a gray. I've never seen one before it's pure white . Are they albino and are they rare I'll get some photos next time it comes to show it Cheers ash
anser2
Quite a few about. There are 4 white greys in my local North Norfolk flock of greylags of about 700 birds. They are the result of a wild greylag crossing with a farmyard domestic greylag type goose. I always and try and take the cross breeds first if they come over me. aister
There was a white graylag that came here every winter for a good few years, always to the same area.
kent
Far from uncommon tame gone feral entering gene pool or just a natural thing occurring from inbreeding? Who really can say as tame farmyard geese came from wild
