Albert 888
After info on the above 22lr rifles. And which configuration they come in. As in barrel weights, lengths, stock variations, are the actions all the same. Are the mags 5 and 10 shot, what twist is the barrel. What type of mounts do I need etc,can I fit peep sights and a scope and name them easy to change from one to another. I'm building a new target rifle hence all the questions after a 10 shot mag fed mid weight rifle that is competitive at 25yards freehand and 100 yards prone that can also be used ad my pest control rifle. LeadWasp
jagdmatch is heavy, all these rifles in rimfire are 4 or 5 shot versions. no after market mags that I'm aware of. Everything is on on http://www.weihrauch-sport.de/small-bore-repeaters/hw-66-jagd-match?lang=en
Albert 888
Oh dear. I bought a jagdmatch stock and was hoping to fit a hw 60 or 66 action and barrel to it to replace my cz 455. I was after a anschutz biathlon but no joy after over a year of searching. Thanks for the info.
LeadWasp
well I will say that the HW66J is just lovely - I carry mine in the field so when I say heavy I mean by comparison only. The trigger is to die for........
psycho
I have a 60j 14 inch barral its as accurate as my custom br22 sako with Jewell trigger and match barral ..the trigger is superb,I have a 5 and 10 shot mag prefers the 5 as the ten hangs below..the 10 is available after market.the barral is a heavy barral, the choke is not tight which shocks as it fires single hole at 25 yards..can be bullet fussy no problem with eley but Winchester rounds jam due to there shape they don't feed from the mag into the breech
Albert 888
Great stuff. I'm I'm using sk standard plus at the moment as eley are hard to get hold of. What is the difference between the 60 and 66. I'm sure with a bit of work I can get the 10 shot mag to work better.
christophejames
Do you have a link to a 10 shot mag for the hw60j psycho? I've never found one anywhere
LeadWasp
Like wise a 10 shot mag would be useful - never seen one so please can you post the link. Thanks
psycho
What I have is an 9 shot mag which holds 9 if you concertina left and right If you just put them in it holds 8 you can also put one in the spout which gives you the ten. I got it off a lad on a gun forum and assumed they were available every were.I have looked and the best I can see is an 8 shot on UK mags which does not look like my mag Edited May 26, 2016 by psycho
