Paul in North Lincs.
If there are any 'antiques buffs amongst us' I wonder if you could help I have been given a pair of Normill Prints that belong to my Grandmas farther….by Grandma is in here 90’s so I can assume that that these are quite old, with the oringinal hanging chain. The pictures size measures 12†x 6.5†in a much larger frame with the words ‘The Top of the Morning@ on One and ‘Picking up the scent’ on the other. The prints define two excelent hunting scenarios with Horse and hounds, a quick glance you'd think they were water colours....... and on the back is the original Normill Made in England sticker with Series 2536. The frame seems to made out a very old type of plastic. I have done a brief search on the web and have found out nothing..... I really intrigued to find out how old it they are....at least 80years to my understanding.......and the obvious....how much they are worth! Any ideas?? Rob Taylor
Hi, I've just found this posting in 2018, while trawling for detail of norhill prints. I have exactly the same pair of paintings and wonder if you did find out anything. My father bought them for his mother circa 1934.
