malkiserow
I saw that Hawk do a vantage scope dedicate for a .22 RF so the graduations are about right for 38grain bullets. The old BSA sweet 22 was a bit rubbish. Anyone tried the Hawk one to know if they are any good?
Dekers
You have got to accept every .22lr barrel is different, so is its wear, maintenance, length, moderator, crown and whatever else you can think of. Any scope will only ever get you in the area, you said it yourself......... the graduations are about right for 38grain bullets. If that works for you then fine. Savhmr
I have one. It's ok but you'll need to calibrate the bullet drop of your chosen ammunition to a specific magnification, not necessarily the one given by Hawke partly due to barrel variations, partly due to variations in MV between ammunition brands. They do two versions. Make sure you pick the right one for you. The Hawke is better than the BSA sweet. Open sights would be better tan the BSA sweet come to think about it!
