tomaddy525
Experienced grouse beater and have more beating to do than I can shake a stick at.. But last year I got to do one day picking up as one of the regulars was ill and I loved it. Have done plenty of pheasant/partridge picking up so it's not like i'm a total novice. Would like somewhere I can do a few days picking up this coming summer. I only work one, albeit excellent, lab, but I would rather come and pick up for you for a tenner than beat for £50.. I may even do it for free just to get to work the dog/experience. Currently beat on teesdale and swaledale moors. Can anyone offer me a couple of days? PERCE
You'd probably be better off seeing if they'll let you go on the flank where you go now. You can get some good retrieves for your dog from here, mostly last drive of the day when everyone else wants to ****** off home. I pick up but i'd rather take young dogs on the flank as it's a great place for them to learn the job.
