Hi Chaps

:good::lol: :blink:

I was given a brand new air ranger to set up for a side paralax scope and night vision but even after trying two completely different scopes it will only shoot 2" groups. (not pilot error)

The guage is showing 150 bar so could this be a regualtor problem.

Any help gratefully received.

hehe monkey, I wouldn't say that?! :good:

I do have an Air Ranger though and always manage to get fingernail grops at 30yards. Have you tried filling it to 200 bar (Providing that it says 200 on the barrel near the breech. This might sound like a stupid question but how are you resting the rifle. If you are leaning the barrel on anything then this would give you alot bigger groupings as they haven't got barrel bands and the pellets will hit alot higher. PM if you need any help and I will try!! :lol:

It was shot resting on the woodwork and using a standard bench rest beanbag. Most of the groups were ok but then out of the blue either a flier or one 4" low. I thought it may even be the rotary mag but even that seemed ok.

Puzzling all the same and bloody annoying.

What pellets are you using? Have you tried filling to 200bar and shooting a couple of groupings at this pressure. Mine shoots al the way from 200bar to well below 150, All without the sligjhtest of drops in power. I you are getting quite a few 'fliers' then it may well be either a dodgy pellet (deformed slightly) or regulator problem.

Hope you get it sorted :good:
