winnie&bezza
In process of re-finishing my macnab 20b OU with trade secret and am on 6th coat. Did a coat this morning and it looked lovely, left on table and when I came home I went and had a look and the stock has little specks of oil all over it coming out the pores. I did grain sealed it. It was is direct sunlight and I suppose the heat is bringing oil out but is this normal? First stock I've done.
Junkyard Dog
Too much oil in that last coat, use less and be sure its worked in well......
Westward
Don't leave it in the sun. Light is good for curing, heat is not.
