webb1982
Hello Due to some building work I am having to move where my two spaniels currently reside. Looking at the prices I thought I could save some cash what with said building work and a 5 month baby and build something myself. I was looking at building the shed type with mesh or bars on the front. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go about this before I cock it up? Thanks
fenboy
I looked into this before I brought my kennel , to be honest for the little if no saving over making one it was not worth the hassle , the manufactures buy wood / panels etc in such large quantities its difficult to beat them. Just need to find a well priced 12ft x 4ft run now! I don't know about that Mine come from Dutchy Farm Kennels , I did the base myself . The Kennel itself cost £1100 although I note they have gone up since then , delivery and erection is included in the price though.
Jpcurling
I am a joiner- built my own kennel. Yes, it will last longer than any you would buy on the Internet. I definately did not save money though!!!!!! If I was doing it again I would buy a plastic one off the internet.
