dad Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 its that time of the year again 3 of the farms i shoot will get their poults in the next 2 weeks and we are not so welcome untill febuary we miss most of the winter drilling and early rape we have a hawthorn wood and the pigeons flock to it for the berries with a pen in the middle. 6 months from feb to august goes so quick this year we had no nocked back rape and peas didnt perform for more than a few days this is the worst year for a long time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

roadkill Posted July 31, 2016 Report Share Posted July 31, 2016 That's the way the cookie crumbles, if you seen how much money and time went into pheasants you would see why we keep pigeon shooting and any other away from the land. The only shooting we do now on the estate is fox and nothing else till the game season is over then the roosting begins.
