Barrels for Beretta 687 Sporting Wanted.

Hi there all,

 

Due to a bit of a tumble a couple of weeks ago, i now need a set of barrels to fit a beretta 687 sporting. Ideally 30" Multi choked.

 

I am prepared to pay a good price for these and have the cash waiting for someoene that has a pair that will fit.

They're not the sort of thing most people have kicking around.

 

He's not in your area, but Chris Potter Guns used to stock lots of Beretta bits & pieces.

 

Give him a ring on 01892 522208.

 

Make sure you try and get a set that weighs the same as your existing set, as they do vary, the weight should be stamped on the barrels somewhere.

I know that it's not the normal thing to ask for, but I thought that it would be worth a try on here before I swallow hard and go to the gun shop and give them the thick end of £450 for a set....

My 687 sporting will be for sale shortly when I get back off me hols but it is only a 28" multichoke, excellent condition though. Wont the barrels off a silver pigeon fit?

 

What has been damaged on yours, can they not be repaired?

the damage is just to the end of the barrels, i had a tumble with the gun on my back in the slip whilst leaving home, 3 steps and a couple of bust ribs after the end of the barrel has peeled back maybe 3mm on the top barrel on the outside of the choke.

 

just to keep it safe I would rather get a set of replacement barrels for it, I do think that the silver pigeon barrels with fit it .

 

if anyone has some, then i am prepared to pay decent money for them.

 

ideally I would like 30" multi choke barrels for it.

 

i'm also prepared to travel as i do get around the uk quite a lot.
