lord_seagrave Posted September 13, 2016 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 Well, I'm just about to trade mine in (55 plate 2.0d but with over 200k on the clock) as we've got a fuel problem. I've been told (both by Volvo and the bloke down the local garage) that the/a fuel pump has an integrated pressure sensor that was/is on the blink, causing rattles and the occasional cut-out :( Whether that's a common problem, I don't know. Volvo in Swiss Cottage charged me £150 to plug it to a laptop and tell me that, and the bloke in the local garage charged me £660 to 'fix' it :( Up until it started to give up, I was really fond of it. Grippy, but smooth and pointable, and I like that snub-nosed shape. Also, good and big on the inside, but not too big on the outside, if you know what I mean.
