Daveo26
Iv got a lwb gv. 2008 and it looks like a car and suffers with limited ground clearance. Iv been thinking about a 50mm lift from Jimmy bits. It comprises of longer rear springs and shocks and front Spring spacers . Good or bad idea? Davyo
Get yourself on the Jimny forum as a lot of lads have vits on there.Ive had a jimny with a 5inch lift but didnt do it myself. If you lift any car it needs to be done right i beleive.Things like correction bushes, extended brake lines ect.Be aware though that insurance companies will assume your going to abuse it.Flux(They gave me a quote, i paid, they called next day to change the policy,i said "get stuffed" they said £75 cancelation fee"even stated that i would be greenlaning, which is their interpritation of driving down a farm track.Plus it will be a pig to sell on.
