beesley121
Hi guys, I've been give permission to shoot on a golf course, i contacted my firearms department and gave them what details i had. Unfortunately i was told that they dont search via address and its normally the name that shows up on the system but i was also told that if the land had been registered under another name, that it also wouldnt show up. I find this ridiculous, you would have though that it would be done under postcodes as the name of the owner can change at anytime meaning that one week it could be passed off only for it to have to be done again a few months later as another guy wants to shoot there with a closed ticket and it now has a different owner. i thought the firearms department were already overstretched, talk about making more work for themselves. any idea how i can sort out whether this land is indeed passed for firearms use or not?? kyska
It is a bit odd, before my cert was 'opened' I only gave the address.
