Recommended Posts

Looks like your getting there mate, 5 & 4 are on the money,

They all look to be in the inch though,

Hope you are well mate,

Flynny

yes i am good mate those were the best 3 groups of each the other 2 groups of each calibre were pretty poor though the 204's were overall better they seemed to get better the faster i pushed them to the point in pic 4 then went up to 30grain in group 5 of the 204's and i suddenly opened up to 1.5"

Hi Col

The next step is to discover where the accuracy/stability node begins and finishes. In target five (222 50g vmax) it is clear to see that it is close to the node centre. I would test either side by 0.4 moving in 0.2's to fully deduce where the node begins and ends. You can then ensure that you have the node centre and tune it with OAL if required to increase accuracy.

sounds like a plan to me will give that a go though have just picked up some 32gr for the 204 so just playing with them at the moment to find a good recipe for them at the mo i have 100 yard group at 1/4" at 100 and moved out to 200 and its about 1" though need a dead still day as that was in 6mph winds though was in a relatively calm corner of the field
