young gun
I've been trapping some rabbits in my neighbours garden as they're destroying her veg and flowers and i've got 3 so far, I've just caught a 4th but heres the problem as i was taking it out the trap it some how kicked free and the next thing i know its running off , so i'm obviously feeling rather stupid at the moment but what i want to know is, is there any chance of me catching it again in the same trap or will it be understandably scared off the trap now, and if so would maybe covering it up in grass etc to hide it work or do i need to find another way to trap this one
Paul in North Lincs.
I supose it really depends on what sort of trap your using.....if its a cage trap then unlikey If its a drop trap sunk under a main run the keep it locked off for a week, so they have free pasage over the run...after a week unlock it an you should start to catch again...... Failing that....................does the garden lend itself to safe use with an air-rifle??
young gun
It was a cage trap so it looks like i won't get him in there again. Can't use an air rifle unfortunatly, this rabbits in their front garden so it's right on the road. He's not been back for a couple of days so with any luck it will stay that way and he may have been scared off the garden.
