Salop Matt
Folks I have a pair of shooting glasses that have my prescription inserts in them, I wear them for all my shooting, how ever as yet I haven't worn them for any driven shooting as I only got them in feb and haven't had the right opportunity since. I have have the sun glasses tint as lens then a purple, yellow & an orange lens...... But am not sure which colour to use With clays I tend to hold a lens up and look at a clay threw them against the back drop to see which makes the clay stand out most especially with orange and green clays, this is when am waiting to shoot. But that`s not going to be the targets presented on the two days driven shooting I have coming up, its pheasant and partridge against the winter scenery and sky. So what do you guys use that do use coloured lenses in the field, What works best for you ? ATB Matt
PhilR
A few of our drives have the guns lined out facing south. Consequently at this time of year with the trees mostly leafless and a low sun, sunglasses are a useful addition.
figgy
Take all your lenses with you, depending on the light there is no telling what will be the best for your eyes. Wait till a bird breaks cover and look through your lenses as you would a clay and pick the best one, better to miss one or two getting it right than not being able to see the birds with the wrong choice. Enjoy your day.
