Maxus Hunter
Had an up and down season on lough neagh where I shoot, good number of mallard and teal September and October then it all went down hill, the divers never really showed up on the 2 shores I shoot all season 2 r 3 times we hit double figures but nothing compared to the usual number of ducks about, although plenty of ducks shot in other locations around the lough
Strawnend
Maxus hunter sounds similar, the lough I shoot on is private but apart from the first day we had little to no mallard come in. It was a good season for teal but the weather never really got cold enough so most stuff stayed on the nearby reserves. Went out for a walk yesterday and ther must be at least 500 wigeon and teal. Typical! Haha Edited February 16, 2017 by Strawnend
greenergp
Went out for my last day, managed to get 4 teal, i had some widgeon come close but could'nt get a safe shot at them so had to let them go.
