red_stag88
I have found the same with my Hawke Nite eye, I think that it should be left where it is (screw the small screw in) I have mine set to infinity. Do you get any probs when you change the zoom?
Matt.Tsk
Not being cocky but u are putting it back in the same place after u have taken the shot
brain dead
what difference should it make if they do put it back after they take the shot, it'll still be out when they do zoom in again??
sharp_shooter
it hits the same spot on all zoom levels. which little screw. is infinity clear at all ranges? neav tried it
rjimmer
What has paralax got to do with Zoom? Put it right out of focus and adjust the eyepiece so that the crosshairs are clearest. Then refocus on the target. That's how to get rid of paralax on a theodolite!
red_stag88
Yep, except within about 5yds SS . The screw is in the middle of the corrigated bit that you twist. It is a small (few mm) philps head. RJ, it has nowt to do with it, just wondering if his shots were in the same place when agusting the zoom, as mine tend to go up (probably down to bad shooting)

Parallax is a problem, not a ****! It is the apparant movement of the crosshairs on the target when you move your eye about while looking through the scope. "Parallax of the cross wires (of an optical instrument), their apparent displacement when the eye changes its position, caused by their not being exactly in the focus of the object glass."
