verminer Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 save your money on buying these fox calling gadgets. all you need to do is buy a set of cheap portable mp3 foldable speakers (the ones that require batteries) i paid £5.00 for mine in argos sale, and buy a cheap MP3 player (i got mine from asda for £3.99p) £9.00 total outlay.then record the rabbit distress calls onto the mp3 and away you go. mine has never failed to bring a fox in. i have been using it now for 8 weeks and so far have shot about 23 adult foxes and 12 cubs, i find it best if you put the player on repeat and place it in the field somewhere whilst you sit in a hedge and hide. i have had foxes come right up to the player and sit down staring at it. somewhere on this site is a link to obtain free calls i think it was called westernrivers.com. you can download this to the mp3. hope i have saved you some hard earned cash.
