Sean R Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 I'm reasonably new to shooting with a shotgun although I have owned and shot with an air rifle for some time now. I live near Leicester but beat on driven game shoots in Corby and Coventry. This does not exactly help with vermin or pigeon shooting close to home. Crow_Misser Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 Bad news mate, only knocking on doors and finding out is the best way, but be prepared you'll get more knockbacks than you will get permission to shoot. Just dress smart'ish and go see the farmers, BASC or other insurance is a good idea as it says your a sensible person. Best time to door knock is during the morning or afternoon, some get a liitle annoyed at evening times, so time off from work may be required. Good luck with the hunt.
