There's a company called Southern Acrylics (southernacrylics.co.uk) that sell IR sheet at very low prices.I bought a 3mm x 100mm x 100mm for £1.05p inc pp. The sheet can be cut and shaped to fit on, or over a torch, which will then provide you with IR 'light'. The power is dependent on the torch beam, and it's not as good as buying a torch with IR L.E.D. I tried some on my Clu-Briter torch and managed to get a range of approx 60 yards. This would be more than ample for inside a barn etc.
