Jonno243 Posted June 5, 2017 Report Share Posted June 5, 2017 I have a Snugtop canopy on my Hilux that is fitted with one of those annoying "slamlock" mechanisms, that is to say there is no handle it is solely a "key-in-and-twist-to-open" affair and it locks when you slam the lid. The constantly locked feature is more annoying than helpful, and I live in perpetual fear of closing my keys in there and having to smash my way in... I have been on to Snugtop who were happy to inform me that they could easily supply a proper handle arrangement, but that they wanted £125 + VAT just for the parts!!!!! I nearly choked on my coffee when I read the email. I don't suppose any of you knowledgeable lot would be able to point me in the direction of a supplier of replacement, retrofit, handles?
