ChrisPCarter
A 30" Miroku MK38 Sporter Grade 5 is what I'd go for - and I did. Haven't regretted it once, I've bought and sold other guns since but would never sell this one. I think they are the equal of a £4K gun from Browning or Beretta. They make most of Browning's guns in Japan so you can't go wrong and I actually think they are better quality than Browning's these days. Wingman
Cant agree more about the advice on Miroku's. I have had many guns over the years, and my 3800 was one of only a few (actually the only one probably) i wish I had not sold and still had. Whatever you choose I would buy from one of the more common mainstream makes (ie. Beretta, Browning, Miroku, Winchester) as you will know doubt want to change or upgrade and they will hold there value better. Good luck! lancer425
My advice is buy a decent brand Beretta Browning Miroku are the prime examples. No need to buy a new one just look around for a tidy used example of the model you decide on save your money and let the original purchasers take the initial depreciation.
