wokkywokky
As a relative novice I have always chosen to shoot on dry days. I am planning an outing this evening for a few hours as there is a patch that the birds were dropping in on yesterday (fingers crossed the birdies still feel the same way today), however the weather looks like fine drizzle for the rest of day. I know birds need to eat but do are they as active as they usually are when its wet?
oldypigeonpopper
hello, i know some say pigeon do not like getting mud on their feet if feeding on a wet field say just been sown but maybe some more experienced may say better, but as you say they still have to feed, as for your self maybe a Decathlon camo brolly might help in future rather than the full netting out. good luck
wokkywokky
Thanks pigeonpopper, I also heard that they don't like getting their feet dirty, maybe I could put out one of the misses finest table cloths for them . The field is rape that was cut a few days ago so its not too muddy. The farmer is going to turn this field over within a week so I want to give it a go before its too late. The camo brolly is a good idea, thanks, and will have to put one on the cards especially with the weather lately.
