DrBlox Posted October 11, 2017 Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 I posted elsewhere that I had got into the habit of oiling my gun's stock with walnut oil and that I recently noticed that the walnut oil chamois I use, the oil had polymerised to a varnish like finish. To investigate this further does anyone have a bit of walnut/old (preferably unfinished/treated) walnut stock that I can experiment on?
