Pigeon Shredder.
After a week of grandchildren (another school holiday) l got out for 2 hour's today. Starting at 15:00 l went and saw the groundskeepers before they knocked off for the day and after a gossip set up in the hedgerow with the .22lr to await some bunnies. First up Mr Squirrel digging a hole for his winter store, well he won't be requiring that, 1 down. Next up 2 pigeons in short succession closely followed by a magpie that came in for a look. The light was dropping so l fixed on the night sights, and then a nice pheasant stuck his head up out of the long grass, his mistake l'm afraid, and then the bunnies popped up in a mob about 65 mt's away, 1, 2, 3, and then who forgot to charge the blooming torch battery, ahhh. Oh well home earlier than envisaged and pheasant and bunnies too prep in the morning. Now sitting here with batteries on charge and planning on a foray for Thursday, could have been worse l suppose l could have forgotten the gun like l did when l went pigeon shooting a couple of weeks back, but that's another story.
