BSA Shaun
What outputs do you have from the laptop? Use an S-Video lead to connect the video side of life and a 1/8" stereo to rca adapter to connect the sound
pin
Post up the model numbers of the TV and the Laptop and we can help with the best way.
BSA Shaun
And maybe a pic of the interfaces on the laptop
pin
Hopefully with the model No.'s of both we can look them up At best it will probably be VGA out of the laptop and right into the TV, likely if its an LCD/Plasma. Sound as you suggested 3.5mm stereo jack to 2xRCA in on the TV for sound.

Peter_HMR
Just need a vga cable as the TV has a PC input on it and as was said for audio depending on what the tele has 3.5mm jack to phono leads. Best way of setting something like that up is as dual moniters means you can just plug in the laptop into the screen have the DVD playing away on the tele and have the contorls on your laptop screen and still go on the internet or do whatever you want on the laptop its easy as **** to set up i have mine like that for web browsing and just keep the browser on the big screen and winamp msn and anything else on the laptop screen and work off full keyboard and mouse then just unplugg it of im going anywhere very handy
