monkeyjaimz
I would rather shoot with a slingshot or a spudgun I'd leave it well alone mate
Hardy
Not used the Enigma but I'm very happy with the Brocock Hunter. From what I've seen of it on the web it looks like a resonably priced multishot (9 shot magazine). New price is £360, although you could get the AA S200 plus 10 shot adapter for £302 (prices from JSR). Guess it depends how good a deal you've been offered
stink£r
Having shot one, I'd prefer to use an SMK! They are accurate, but the loading system is appauling, constant jams, pellets following the loading probe back etc etc etc. I'd steer well clear mate. Mark M
Same with me, If it shoots like the Hunter you wont go far wrong, Good rifles for the money.

monkeyjaimz
I think that Brocock Hunters are single shot are'nt they? whereas the Enigmas are (supposed to be) multi-shot. Therein lies the problem, the magazines and loading mechanism of the Egigmas are pretty much inferior. Like Stink£r said earlier, the rifle is accurate enough (as im sure the Hunter rifles are) but the point is that unless you can load the rifle in the first place - the accuracy of the action etc is kind of a moot point. Just my opinion
stink£r
yup, you can't fault the barrels they are weirauch! The loading systems are terrible on the Enigma, whereas the hunter being a single shot, are probably a damn good rifle.
Vulcha
Jamming? Mines only jammed because when I was loading it I dropped a pellet into the bolt bit. I think its a great gun. Nice to point, acuurate and looks real nice. I'd say get it.

Vulcha
Nope, its a .177. I use AA Fields. It was real hard to cock with accupels but the fields are real easy to load. Dunno why that was.
Theskyfox
Ive got the Brocock Enigma 22 Deluxe version and I can't fault it myself. Its accurate (pump it to 180 bar instead of 200). I use logun penetrators in it and Ive used it on numerous shoots. I've never jammed it or had a problem with the loading system, its simple enough I mean all you do is load the magazine, slide the mag into the gun, slide the bolt forwards and your ready to go. Then to reload, u just slide it back then push forwards and your ready to go again. I guess its what your used to. I dont know if the deluxe wooden stock version is differently engineered to the synthetic version though. -Andrew

A shooting pal of mine had the .177, and it was jam after jam. It looked like they were designed (magazine wise) as a .22 with .177 as a (very bad) after thought. Maybe my friend was just unlucky and got a bad one.
