Kent Cartridges

Recommended Posts

Afternoon Gents,

Just come back from my local gun shop with 4 boxes of cartridges. As i'm a new shooter i don't know a great deal about what type i need. At the moment i will be shooting clay pigeons, and later on pigeon shooting.

I was sold Kent Velocity Diamond shot Competition. They are 12g, 7.5 shot, 28 gram load and 70mm length with fibre wads. I paid £3.50 a box. Does this sound okay and will they be okay for clay shooting?

Any help and advice would be of great help to a new starter.

Many thanks Q

7.5 28g are fine, i have used them for game and pigeon with no problems.

When i first started shooting i bought 1000 7.5 28g 'clay carts' and 1000 eley hb carts and it took me bloody ages to use the eley hb so now all i buy is a clay load and just keep a few boxes of eley no6s.

this seems to work for me but im sure those that do loads of live pigeon will probably use the 32g load.
