Heavy 1:12 twist target barrel, 25'' in length. 5 Rnd detachable mag, palm swell and raised monte carlo stock. complete with a set of 1'' steyr Apel scope rings (about £175's worth), 4x32 scope and bipod. The jagdmatch model rifles are basically a civilian version of the Steyr SSG sniper rifle. Steyr's trademark anvil forged barrel, with pencil twist exterior (rifling is cut straight then the whole barrel rotated giving the barrel its twist rate). very good condition, the odd age related mark on the woodwork as to be expected for the age, throat and barrel in good condition, plenty of life left. butter knife bolt, smooth as silk and a sharp crisp trigger break with no creep. for-end is flat based so good for bench rest shooters. with 155grn rounds this rifle should stretch out to 1200yds.
