haynes
Have only been out lamping and was wondering about the benefits of an nv mono. For around 300quid, I thought they might be worth a punt. Thought to spot with the mono then rifle ready and on goes the lamp? What are your thoughts? Not keen on the idea of a nv scope and using it for spotting. I use my rifles both day and night but mainly during daylight. Shooting rabbits with the 22lr and fox with the 22250. What' best to look for and what' recommended? Not wanting to spend a fortune. oldypigeonpopper
hello, for that money this is one i would look at pulsar digiforce 860 RT but about the 275 yard range with on board I/R but a quality I/R torch added a good 300 plus, when i am looking for anything like this i try google so would put in best NIGHT VISION HUNTING MONO SCOPE , i bought one from custom rifle scopes good for 150 yards as i use a 22 L/R another idea is a hand held night vision spotter like those Dave-G makes, if you go on search night vision spotters you should find info or PM dave, Edited June 21, 2018 by oldypigeonpopper
haynes
Cheers. Been looking at Dave's nv spotters. They look really interesting and something I hadn' considered. I've pm him. A lot of the nv monocular seem to have far too many whistles and bells on them. Record this, connect to that, link to your phone etc. Is it all necessary? Be better if the price was lower or the product used better components etc.
