Si-Bore
I am interested to know the difference between the spread of say a 12 bore with a full choke at 30m and a 28 bore with FC at the same distance, using comparable cartridges/shot size. What I am wondering is does the narrower bore of the 28 keep the pattern tighter if used with the same shot load, possibly increasing the effective hunting range? I am under the impression that you would have to be more accurate with it. Cheers Si

Popgun
I've played about with patterns on 12 and 28 bore the spread is about the same but the shot density is less with the 28 cos of the lighter load but it seems to me you get less flyers with the 28 bore, i drop a shot size when i use my 28 for pigeon decoying i find it kills as well as my 12s just bloody expensive i use 21 grames of number 7s
