The Mighty Prawn Posted August 29, 2018 Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 My new .223 can cope with 5.56 mil surp so I brought some for plinking and noticed it has a red something around the primers which looks a lot like thread lock - is this what it is? Best guess at this stage is perhaps due to the tough life of military ammo they don't want the primers coming loose?
