Baldrick
Did any of the PW members from Essex shoot at the charity clay shoot at Paglesham on Friday 6th July? Lots of farmers and the like turned up, plus a few faces from the local competition circuit. It was a fairly tough round, enjoying the 25mph winds out on the Dengie peninsula...... I didn't see any PW badges though.
Mungler
I was out on a golf day last Friday but would have loved to have shot it (Paglesham, not the Golf day, although there were lots of bunnies on the courses). I maintain that there should be a centralised website for club fixtures - I know the CPSA runs one (badly), but not all of the little / independant clubs sing from that hymn sheet. I have realised that there are a bundle of ad hoc good local clubs with weird fixtures and opening times that I am missing out on just because I don't hear about the shoots. I think there is a plan there maybe. Yes, a central website with a diary / calendar function. Free club sections and a bit for people to upload details of their club shoots, scorecards and competitions etc. Or have I just reinvented the CPSA? Dunkield
I agree Mungler - yikes Some of the better shoots round my way are not listed on the CPSA site, one of them set up their own site as a result of a disagreement with the CPSA. Loads of independant sites are no good, it needs to be centralised.
Mungler
I shall have a word with the Pinmeister. Perhaps www.clayshootingfixtures.co.uk Will take off. I hope it fairs better than my earlier projects: www.betamaxforever.co.uk and www.asbestosthewayofthefuture.co.uk
