Hi and Thank you

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum. I am a keen air gunner and have always wanted to try my hand at clays. I have used the main pigeon watch site in the past for tips on pigeon hunting with my air rifle and happened accross this site. After sifting through all the fantastic information on these fourms i decided to book an introductory clay lesson at Purbeck Shooting School (i live in bournemouth, work in poole) As soon as I fired the first shot from the beretta and nailed the first clay (beginners luck) i was hooked. My SGC application is now being processed and my cabinet was installed yesterday! I cant wait for it to come through so i can get my own gun and not have to pay £35 for a half hour lesson with 25 clays :good: Only slight irritation is that i used to shoot pigeons, corvids and rabbits on some farm land that neighbours my mates house but that land has just changed hands and is being submitted for planning so ive lost my only permission  Last weekend i went out and did the whole farm to farm sales patter to get some more permission but to no avail. So if anyone on here is in the dorset area i would happily pay for your carts and buy you a pint if you would be willing to let me accompany you out some time (cheeky but its worth a shot!)

Didnt mean to type that much, just really wanted to say cheers for all the knowledge people have shared on these forums which makes getting into shooting easier and keeps the sport alive.
