SNAKEBITE
Now I am sure you are aware that having a springer can cause havoc with your scopes, causing them to break with the repeated recoil of the action. Do scope manufacturers advertise their scopes as being "springer friendly"? If so which ones are?
WeihrauchPower
I've never had a scope break creep or move in any way on a springer. A friends cross hairs did fracture on his HW80. The sope was a Silver Antler and was very old. Just buy a scope built to withstand the recoil from a centrefire, and it should never break from the very small amount of recoil even an FAC powered .177 spring air rifle can put out.
Axe
Darren, I know for a fact that Nikko Stirling add something like AG to the code of the scope to signify that it is airgun safe.
pin
I've heard some scope makers rate them "spring gun safe" hawke, or the inference is they are for centerfires in which case they are also fine.

SNAKEBITE
I am not getting a new scope, and don't own a springer now so this thread was purely a hyperthetical question. I was just curious how scopes are marketed.
