flash
Went out this morning to check on the kits and put some food out, and found one of the hobs dead. He had blood around his mouth, and it seems part of his nose is missing along with some of his lips(if they have them) from this the only conclusion is he had a fight. And died because of this. puts it now down to 8 instead of 9. A more managable number, but yet still sad. cheers flash
Cranfield
This does happen, but he could have died and then one of the others had a go at him afterwards. Keep an eye on the rest (I know you will anyway), just to make sure its nothing sinister.

ROBLATCH
ive heard a few people saying that when ferret kits begin to get strong teeth you often find thet the odd couple will fight to the death, although i dont have much experience in the ferret world i dont know whether to beleive this or not
