new to the flock
If I remember right she came out last week of April which would put her at roughly 61 days and since the gestation is 63 days I would think she is having a phantom. Watch her closely for signs of milk production as the can mastitis from a phantom just as easily as from a real pregnancy. Are you sure that she never got caught by Sammy or the village stray? or worse yet LB's Ben...God knows he could make it to your house and back if he knew she was in  if they come out black and looking like a labrador NTTF
Mrs Sweepy
well took mits to vets today .as she started to produce milk .vet checked her out and she is having a phantom (poor thing) so she has been given galastop to stop it poor mits she having a bit of a rough time at the mo. and so my bank card i think its me and mits thats keeping that surgery open .anyway hopefully she will be back on form in about a weeks time .then we have got to decide if we are going to have her done or take the risk that this was just a one off . i would like to have her done .i just got to persuade mr sweepy that he thinks its a good idea too.think i might have to use my womenly charms on him (again) xxx suzy
new to the flock
Let Mr Sweepy know that usually when they have a phantom it is a signal that they will usually continue to have then. NTTF
