So, the Urika 2... Is it really all that?

Has anyone got anything bad to say about it? Anything that has gone wrong that needed expensive fixing or a trip back to the gunsmith?

Can I shoot steel through it? What loads can it cycle? How reliable it is with 24g hushpowers? Anything to watch out for when shooting one?

No bud the Urika both series one or two are a brilliant gun, the only trouble really is when they are not cleaned at all inside I have seen one that had shot about twelve thousand rounds from new ,never cleaned and the gas piston was just a solid mess, after a good clean it functioned as good as new. the new series (2) have a new gas piston that is self cleaning (up to a point) and is designed for 24 gram and higher both are chambered 3inch and you can shoot steel shot but like other manafacturers guns you are advised not to shoot tighter than half choke which throws a full pattern with steel I shoot 6 thousand shells a year with my Urika and its never missed a beat. Just noticed you want to shoot hushpower ammo through it? Hmm then I cant give a knowledgable reply to that question as all Gas auto,s bleed off some gas pressure to cycle the ejection/reload cycle.!! and sub sonic ammo dont have much grunt anyway.Best ask GMK for advice on the sub sonic shells, cheers.
