All Beretta shotguns are excellent, well made and very rarely go wrong, but unless you are slightly built then I would not buy any 28 inch o/u for clayshooting unless it really fits you like a glove. The reason I say this is because the resale value of any 12 gauge sporter is less for a 28inch than for a 30 or 32inch, (in short 28inch guns for clays ) are not so popular. as lefty says if you are set on it then haggle. but I would not pay the price that is being asked. good luck. :good:

The length of the barrel and therefore the weight will have a big effect on the speed and smoothness of your 'swing' when following a target. If the gun is too light, you may find that the 'swing' is too fast and then less controllable.

the closer your eye is to muzzle of the gun, the more movement may effect your sight picture.
