Bismuth can be tougher if its bought not hand moulded or dropped at home , Home made many run lower tin makes denser shot higher brinel hardness. And as long as its Loaded with this in mind will not break up with the internal ballistics on shotguns loaded within recommended pressure limits. . examples in comonly encountered Eley/ Rio bismuth is higher in tin than Roto metals hence the roto metals is denser comparative.
