paul1966
Does anyone elses lab lose hair from their ear edges, last year mine lost its hair during the winter from both tips, during the summer they cleared up and she was fine, this winter it happened again on both tips but also the back edges, these have no regrown but she has now lost the hair on both the front edges. In herself she is fine, and it does not bother her, no ear scratching or rubbing at all, she just looks a bit odd until it regrows. as its not bothering her we have not had a vet look at her as it does clear up on its own, we put it down to an alergy of some sort, or possibly ear edge hyperkeratosis as they do scab over before the hair regrows. loriusgarrulus
Try rubbing the ears with coconut oil. This sometimes helps as its a natural anti histamine. Most supermarkets sell it in jars.
