Loki
Hiya Fellahs Would appreciate advice on the above and a couple of questions I have please - 1. Bell cast on lower edge has cracked at the beading - options to repair (I have used leadmate for about 12")? 2. Render (on outside of Man-Cave!) never been 'coated' (painted) since done (decision by member of Tribe - I wanted artistic bushes/shrubs painted on it !) so exhibits evidence of environment (12" above beading) - so, recomended means of making sure has longevity/environmental protection. Scully
Have heard good things about CT1 but haven’t had cause to use it personally yet. Weathermate is also very good, or just a trade exterior caulk if just a small crack, prior to painting. If the beading is exposed ( steel, ally or plastic ) you can recoat it with Zinsser prior to painting. Many good trade paint will cover render as long as surface isn’t powdery. If so seal with stabilising solution first, then use acrylics to paint mural.
