LHallMaxus
Hello, So this season will be my first season wildfowling. I’ve only just got my license so completely new to it all. Was wondering if anyone knew how many of each bird I should get decoys for.. I was thinking 4 mallards, 4-5 teal and 4 widgeon? What else would I need to get in terms of the clips, weight and rope Also have no idea how to rig them etc is there any good videos on it all I’ve looked on YouTube but not found to much. Vinniefromessex2016
Hi LHallMaxus, Tom Sykes shows you here how rig a normal mother line rig here on this link: As for clips and rigging equipment you buy all of it here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Delux-30Meter-Motherline-Kit-1-Anchor-For-Duck-Goose-Decoys-100ft/223481173464?hash=item34088415d8:g:~rsAAOxygj5SlMkI bought the kit of here seems to work fine. yeah you don’t need large amounts of decoys to start off with normally just throw out 6-7 a mix of teal mallard and wigeon. Hope this helped
