Tin Man Work
The Bosch UFLED60-8BD AEGIS IR Illuminator (850 nm, 60°). This is a high end solid state IR illuminator that runs off 12V and will transform the use of any IR night vision equipment for surveillance and vermin control. It throws out IR at 850 nm (invisible to the human eye) out to the 70 metre or 230 feet mark, and transforms the performance of any IR scopes, see the video link example below. The unit has an aluminium body with acrylic black front, it is designed for external use so is weatherproof and rugged. However it is very light and portable, and running off a vehicle 12V battery or a Lithium Ion pack will transform night shooting. It is a bit big to mount on a rifle, but fitted to a pole or a bracket on a vehicle it is excellent - we have used one of these on a camera tripod to illuminate a rabbit field, then moved off to shoot from a different spot. All you can see close up is a dull cherry red glow, but the image through an IR scope is like daylight with very clear images and eye reflections. We have two of this but have now been using a thermal scope, so our unused spare Aegis is up for sale. A good comparison of the incredible difference this makes over and above smaller IR illuminators and DiPole lasers can be seen here (not my film but a good example): One of these is currently on Fleabay for just under £400 - this unit is immaculate and I'll offer it on here to the shooting community for £200 posted tracked in the UK. It's also listed on eBay as a security light for more than I am offering on here. Thanks for looking. hodge911
Looks a cracking bit of kit unfortunately I'm not in a financial position to buy it even at your bargain price but I'm sure you won't have it long .. On a separate note what are all those little white dots ...as scanning around . I wish there was that many on my whole perm let alone 1 bludy field 😂😂😂😂
